As customers of the United State Postal Service, we, the undersigned,
would like to voice my strong objection to the attempt to eliminate
curbside delivery of mail in new residential subdivisions. Our families
want to maintain the beauty, convenience, and safety of our neighborhoods,
and these factors will be compromised by the implementation of cluster
box units. We think elimination of curbside delivery is discriminatory,
since only new neighborhoods are subject to cluster boxes, and we
pay the same for postage as those who receive mail to their door.
Finally, we think the new rule that states that 50% of the homes
in a new neighborhood must be occupied before curbside delivery begins
is unfair and is only an attempt to coerce developers into installing
cluster boxes.
We strongly object to this unfair practice, and ask for that you
let your voice be heard against this unfair practice. Thank you very
much.
